1/3 x 1/2 = 1/6
(1/3 groups of 1/2)
1/2 x 1/4 = 1/8
(0.5 x 0.25 = 0.125)
2 x 3 = 6
Multiplying proper fractions is relatively easy, unlike adding or subtracting fractions, where we NEVER add or subtract the denominator, we DO multiply both the numerator and denominator. a/b x c/d= ac/bd. Simplify if possible.
When multiplying mixed numbers, first change each mixed number into and improper fraction, then multiply. Simplify if possible.
ex. 3 1/2 x 4 1/5 = 7/2 x 21/5
= 147/10
= 14 7/10
These were 8 of the 10 math questions that were for homework:
1. 2/3 x 5/8 = 10/24
= 5/12
2. -2 1/3 x 1/5 = -7/3 x 1/5
= -6/15
3. -(-1 1/8) x (-2 1/4) = 9/8 x -9/4
= -49/24
= -2 1/24
4. -(1/3) (1/4) (1/5) = (1/12) ( 1/5)
= 1/60
5. (9/21) (7/8)= 63/168
Sorry 9-05 I can't explain anything else because my sister needs the computer as soon as possible. THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME AND COMMENT :)

Good job on the scribe Renorm but i think you need to add more information to make iit more accurate.
Great job! Nice scribe! I like how you explained how to multiply fractions, but you could have added pictures and colour. Your scribe was dull. It would also be better if you added more examples because your scribe would be longer and plus it would be more interesting. Great job again.
Good job Rinorm! I agree with Zerlina, you should have added pictures and colour into your post.
